 Samuel was a Biblical prophet, said to have lived during the reigns of Saul and David, which would date his life to the late 11th and early 10th centuries BCE. Samuel was the last of the prophets and saw the first of the kings of ancient Israel. From the time he was a boy he heard the voice of God and followed after Him - but the people wanted to be like the tribes around them, they wanted a king. This is a story of those times with Samuel, Saul and young David interacting in rich dialog, acting and presence. A great film exposing Gods way against Mans way and the results of following each. |
